Day 1 – Gateway Airport Home/Tel Aviv
Check in at Gateway Airport Home for a connection (or direct) flight for Dublin. Cross the International Date Line.
Day 2 – Tel Aviv/Jerusalem
Change the connection flight and arrive at Tel Aviv, Israel. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transfer to the hotel at Jerusalem.
Day 3 – Jerusalem
City tour and sightseeing at the Old City covers for the attractions of the Mount of Olives, ascend to Mount Zion to visit the Tomb of King David and see the room where Jesus and his disciples share in the Last Supper near Zion Gate. Visit Wailing Wall. See the Dome of the Rock on Temple Mount, walk along with the Station of the Cross, along the Via Dolorosa to Golgotha, arriving at Church of the Holy Sepulchre, site of His Resurrection.
Day 4 – Jerusalem/Dead Sea/Masada/Jerusalem
Drive through the rocky Judean Desert, pass by the sight where Dead Sea Scrolls was found, the excavations of Herod’s palatial retreat, to the striking cliff-top Fortress of Masada.
Day 5 – Jerusalem/Lower Galilee
Visit Yad Vashem, see the Dead Sea Scrolls at Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book, the Knesset and the Givat Ram
Campus of the Hebrew University. Drive through farmland of the Jordon Valley to your hotel.
Day 6 – Lower Galilee
Ascend to the hilltop “chariot city” and Battlegrounds of Megiddo to see the excavations of Solomon’s Stables. Visit sacred Catholic shrine of the Church of the Annunciation at Nazareth and ruins of the old synagogue at Capernaum. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes.
Day 7 – Lower Galilee/Tzfat/Acre/Haifa/Caesarea/Tel Aviv
Venture to one of Judaism’s Four Holy Cities and the birthplace of the Kabbalah movement. Exploring the ancient synagogue and artists’ colony of Tzfat. Visit 12 th -century underground City of Acre, enjoying views of the Baha’i Shrine and the beautiful Persian Hanging Gardens of Haifa. Drive from the ancient port city of Caesarea to Tel Aviv.
Day 8- Tel Aviv
Visit the ancient ruins of Old Jaffa. Continue to Newe Zedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv. Soak up the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Rothchild Boulevard, and drive to Rabin Square.
Day 9 – Tel Aviv/Gateway Airport Home
Take connection flight to Gateway Airport Home.
