Day 1 – Gateway Airport Home/Colombo
Check in at your International Airport for a connection flight for Madrid. Cross the International Date Line. Overnight on the flight.
Day 2 – Colombo/Negombo
Change the connection flight and arrive at Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to Negombo, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 – Negombo/Dambulla/Sigiriya/Kandy
Visit St Mary’s Church. Bus journey to visit Dambulla Cave Temple and Sigiriya Rock, both listed as UNESCO World
Heritages. Bus journey to stay overnight at Kandy.
Day 4 – Kandy/Ella
Visit Temple of the Buddha Tooth, Royal Botanical Garden, Pink Post Office, Upper Lake Drive, Arts & Crafts Center, Gem Museum, Orchid House and Damro Tea Plantation. Bus journey to stay overnight at Town of Ella.
Day 5 – Ella/Situlpawwa/Yala
Bus journey to the Situlpawwa and visit Rock Temple, historically significant and identified as one of the greatest 2 nd century sites. Drive to stay overnight at Yala.
Day 6 – Yala/Mirissa
Visit Yala National Park, one of the six separate national parks in this area. Take jeep tour to see some kinds of animals such as elephant, deer, bear, buffalo, boar, crocodile, peacock, and many other kinds of birds. Bus journey to Mirissa and stay overnight.
Day 7 – Mirissa/Colombo
Take a boat cruise to watch the whale and dolphin. Blue whales are the biggest animals in the world. Mirissa is the best place to watch whales in Sri Lanka, while the best season is from November to April. Take local tourist train or bus journey to Colombo. Hotel stay there for two nights.
Day 8- Colombo
Full day city tour and sightseeing include the Old Parliament Building, the residence of the Presidential Secretariat of Sri Lanka, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, the Gangaramaya Temple, the Colombo Lake and the Old Town Hall, one of the famous landmarks of Colombo. Shopping for souvenir and gift before leaving this beautiful country.
Day 9 – Colombo/Gateway Airport Home
Fly by connection flight to Gateway Airport Home.
